Society of St. Vincent de Paul—The Mallow Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul thank everyone who generously supported the 2018 Christmas Appeal. The generous response received was vital not just in helping SVP bring food, fuel, toys and assistance to approximately 400 families in the parishes of Mallow, Killavullen, Ballyclough and Burnfort this Christmas, but also in helping support the many hundreds of families in need throughout 2018. The society in Mallow spent €45,000 this Christmas. Calls for assistance have risen in recent years and SVP ensures all donations that are made locally are spent locally. SVP depends almost entirely on the support of the public. Your loyal support has enabled us to help those in need during 2018 and your ongoing generosity will allow us to continue this work into the future. Remember, without your support, much of what we do would simply be impossible. God Bless.
